  • Abstract
Intelligent Control (IC) was firstly defined by Fu [1] as a methodology for designing control actions via a blending of techniques of automatic control, artificial intelligence and operations research. According to Meystel [2] the actual birthdate of IC was in August 1985 during the first meeting of scientists interested in the subject (Troy, New York) [3]. The second meeting on IC was held in Philadelphia (January 1987), and then the annual series of IEEE International Symposia on Intelligent Control (ISIC) was established.
