Abstract :
Weather phenomenon is the basic content of meteorological observation. Analysed the requestion of weather phenomenon observation, the system of automating weather phenomenon was designed, which combined the image processing technology, the precipitation identificating technology and automatic weather station measuring technology. Using this system, Observing experiment had been made in BeiJing, DaLi, XinLinHaoTe, ShouXian, ZhangYe, DianBai, MoHe and YanQing, and the result show that it worked well.
