Abstract :
The technology of DC melting ice for transmission line are introduced to overhead ground wire, analyzed the corresponding relationship between minimum current of melting ice and ground type and ice thickness of overhead ground wire. Yongfeng substation in Zhaotong grid, for example, calculated the melting ice parameters of overhead ground wire. raised need to consider other factors for DC melting ice for overhead ground wire. Through theoretical analysis and example calculations, proved the feasibility of DC melting ice for overhead ground wire.
