This paper makes a comprehensive assessment on the urban-rural integration development at county level in Xinjiang, and reveals the characteristics and the regional differentiation laws. Overall, urban-rural integration development can be divided into four types: coordinated development type, less coordinated development type, primary-coordinated development type and lagging coordinated development type. The results indicate that the urban-rural integration development has obvious regional differentiation characteristics. The development levels of urban-rural integration in capital city and regional central cities are higher. Polarization of comprehensive scores is serious. The development gap of urban-rural integration in Xinjiang is obviously higher than economic development gap. Analyzing the spatial differentiation, there is different spatial performance in the northern and southern Xinjiang.
