Abstract :
In this work, we study the propagation dynamics of the generalized Hermite-Laguerre-Gaussian beams in a nonlinear medium with a Gaussian nonlocal response. Such higher-order self-trapped beams can be stabilized by the nonlocal response with sufficiently large spatial scale of nonlocality and for soliton powers above a certain threshold. To the best of our knowledge, this gives the first example of stable states of two bright self-trapped vortex beams in conservative self-focusing media.
