Abstract

Recreational area around metropolis is a main direction of tourism development of the surrounding area around the city, so it is very important to know the development mechanism of ReBAM. A development mechanism model of ReBAM was founded and the empirical test was carried on the factors of the ReBAM by taking the visitors in Wuhan city as samples. The results show that eight factors, which are resource natural endowment, population gathering, economy development, transition of resident´s consumption idea, economic behavior of suburb government and residents, investment behavior of the travel developer, promotion of the travel agency, medias, influence the development of ReBAM prominently. At last the paper discusses the results and puts forward the future research.
