Abstract :
A novel differential detection method, called two-dimensional chip-level differential detection (2D-CLDD), is proposed. The chip-level differential detection is performed in both time and frequency domains. Compared with conventional one-dimensional spread-spectrum systems, such as DS-SS and MC-CDMA chip-level differential detection, 2D-CLDD exhibits a better performance in time-and-frequency selective fading channels.
