Abstract :
The authors look at power system distribution control centres which use distribution supervisory control and data acquisition (DSCADA) systems. DSCADA is proving to be a very useful tool in power system operation. Dispatcher remote control of substation and feeder equipment is performed routinely. Feeder re-configuration through control of sectionalizing switches for both maintenance and load switching has proven to be a valuable asset
