Abstract :
This paper deals with a multibeam antenna in 60 GHz band. This structure is based on a Butler Matrix which fed a four printed antenna array. Two different solutions are presented to avoid the crossing point of the microstrip line : a microstrip-thick slot-microstrip transition or two hybrids 90°. The authors present the feeding line network of the matrix and compare results for the two solutions in term of losses, radiation pattern and tilt angle.
