Abstract
A versatile analog BiCMOS current-mode/voltage-mode fuzzifier that generates a trapezoidal membership function is introduced. The parameters of the trapezoidal function are independently adjustable. The fuzzifier uses translinear cells and BiCMOS linear transconductors. Experimental results that verify the operation of the fuzzifier are presented
