  • Abstract
It is known that space flux harmonics generated by fractional-slot winding are different from ones generated by integral-slot winding. The authors reviewed space flux harmonics caused by fractional-slot winding and developed a new winding method, which is based on intersperse one coil winding, to reduced low order space flux harmonics components. The validation for the new design has been also completed with using a winding model.
