Abstract
In this paper we proposed a new method for reduction of peak-to-average power ratio in OFDM systems by combining selective mapping and Golay complementary sequences. By using Golay complementary sequence, we restricted PAPR by partitioning the second order Reed-Muller code into cosets such that codewords with large values of PAPR are isolated. But because of m!/2 cosets have PAPR less than 3 dB, we use selective mapping after coding and then use all of the possible cosets. It has been achieved to reduction of PAPR and increasing of code rate.
