Abstract
Using a Triage identification process similar to a battlefield medical triage to uncover major program schedule risks early is a combination of traditional Risk and Opportunity management and advanced Monte Carlo Schedule Risk Analysis (SRA). The triage process uses three techniques of increasing fidelity. The approach is a cost effective application of SRA which analyzes only the most egregious critical path issues (triage level III) to provide a prioritized warning and analysis. It also presents a method to link the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) to the Risk Register for increased Program Management tool set integration.
