Abstract :
This article presents a low-voltage fully-differential operational amplifier for a polyphase filter for mobile communication receivers. Due to a high gain-bandwidth 200 MHz and a low noise 6.7 nV/√(Hz) of the amplifier the filter spurious free dynamic range SFDR is 95 dB and a noise floor at the output is 15 μVrms. The 5th order polyphase (10th order band pass) filter fabricated in 0.8 μm BiCMOS process dissipates 33 mW from a single 3.3 V supply.
