Abstract :
This paper describes the torque ripple characteristics of a magnetic-geared motor with permanent magnets only on the high-speed rotor. The torque characteristics, especially the order of the torque ripple, are theoretically described and verified by coupling an electromagnetic field analysis using finite element method with a control analysis under vector control.
