Abstract
GPS multipath is one of the major concerns in precise airborne positioning and gravimetry, since the spectrum of the multipath effect overlaps the motion spectrum or the gravity spectrum to be determined. In this paper results of tests are reported, which were made to study the multipath under kinematic conditions. The test design allowed the direct determination of GPS errors by a precision kinematic reference. The data analysis showed the characteristic behaviour of GPS errors under kinematic conditions and especially the transformation of the multipath error spectrum due to antenna dynamics. First results of reducing multipath position errors by using a kinematic reference are also discussed
