Abstract
We consider the control of affine linear parameter varying systems, that is, linear systems whose state space matrices are affine function of time-varying parameters. When these parameters are measured in real-time, an affine LPV controller is sought to ensure stability and performance. In contrast with previous approaches, the time-varying parameters are not assumed to evolve in a polytope. To the purpose, we propose a systematic way to exploit the special structure of certain (nonlinear) physical systems
