Abstract :
To design a phased array antenna, different criteria should be considered. Nulls must be placed toward the interferes´ directions and the main beam should be focused on the desired user. To accomplish these conditions, several methods can be used. What is important in this paper is how additional roots can be added into AF1 polynomial to help main beam steering and reduce the grating lobes effects
