Abstract :
OFDM is a promising technique for achieving high-speed data transmission in future cellular system and WLAN system, and the channel detection and the channel estimation are very important for subchannel allocation and channel equalization. The PSD estimation could be imposed to obtain accurate signal estimation. In this paper, a channel detection algorithm and a channel estimation algorithm based on the PSD are presented. The results of simulation prove that the detected CSI error based on the PSD estimation is less than that of the LS estimation and the MMSE estimation, and the performance of OFDM system under the condition of channel equalization based on the PSD & LS channel estimation is better than that of the LS channel estimation and the MMSE estimation
