  • Abstract
The performance of DOA estimation based on average acoustic intensity degraded badly as the cell spacing of pressure-difference acoustic vector sensor was relatively great, which restricted its potential applications. A new method was proposed to improve the DOA estimation, which made good use of flexible formation of pressure and particle velocity signal. This method eliminated acoustic intensity to influence one another in horizontal directions effectively, which had a more excellent DOA performance and redundant cell spacing range. Numerical simulation and lake trial indicated that this method had its applicable feasibility and was out of abundant computations.
