Abstract :
Fusion problem of medical functional images and anatomical images is studied in this paper. Based on wavelet multi-scale decomposition the fusion algorithm of functional images and anatomical images is advanced and elaborated, and the method of fusion rule selection is summarized in detail. Using the algorithm, a PET image and a MRI image of a brain are merged. With the index integrating entropy and cross entropy, the fusion result is assessed indicating the validity of the algorithm and the method.
