Abstract :
A novel approach is presented to effectively generate process retargetable cell layout. The method is based on the general purpose computer language C. A set of functions has been defined which allows the generation and handling of complex parameterizable devices. The implementation of technology setup is described. The method is demonstrated for some mixed signal applications using several different CMOS technologies.
