Abstract :
Propagation of a TEM wave in a four-wire anechoic chamber facility is considered. The electromagnetic fields of the four-wire system are given when anechoic chamber material is and is not present. The analysis of this problem is divided into two main parts: the first part analyzes how a TEM wire propagates in a four-wire system that is surrounded by four parallel metallic walls; and the second part analyzes how the TEM wave attenuates when lossy absorber material is attached to the interior of the anechoic chamber. A numerical example is given
