Abstract
This paper describes the design and implementation of a power-on reset circuit for long supply time ramp-up. The proposed architecture, implemented in an automotive IC, generates a power-on reset signal with a programmable delay from the crossing instant of the supply voltage with a fixed threshold voltage. The circuit was designed and fabricated in a 0.35-μm XFAB CMOS process and exhibits an area of 0.03-mm2.
