Abstract :
The paper is devoted to the question of the choice of aerials for remote sounding of the near-Earth atmospheric layer with gaseous pollution. Sodar and radio-acoustic sounding techniques are compared for accuracy. For three-frequency radio-acoustic sounding by the phase method, the paper considers the features of parabolic reflector aerials with three antenna feeds in the focal plane, and of horn antennas with a frequency-independent waveguide.
