Abstract
A general scheme of feedforward carrierless pulsewidth modulation for adjustable speed AC drives is described. Basic peculiarities of this methodology are presented. Good compatibility of the methods proposed with many kinds of known PWM methods and techniques is shown. Universal control correlations have been obtained for pulse frequency modulation variants with equal pulses and equal pauses versions. There are additional degrees of freedom in the scheme of modulation here that can be used for optimization of control processes in systems in real time
