Abstract :
The battlefield of the future is a highly dynamic and lethal environment that will demand near real time situational awareness information. In order for Army commanders to survive and win in this environment, they must use a host of complex systems that provide reliable time synchronization and accurate information on the location of friendly and hostile forces. Under the ongoing army digitization strategy, the Global Positioning System (GPS) will be used as the “linchpin” to accomplish this effort
