Abstract :
This paper introduces a new idea of designing Web Applications, guiding the development phases from the requirements to the implementation. Abstract State Machines (ASMs) method is used to create ground models which describe the behavior of several agents engaged in the client-Cloud interaction. For solving the problem of Cloud-based applications´ adaptation to various channels and end-devices (in particular with respect to needs arising from mobile clients) we need to include rigorous analysis and definitions prior to code development. This implies the creation of ASM ground models based on content adaptation techniques (e.g.: server-side and client-side adaptation).
