Abstract :
´Black and White Construction Contracts´ is a newly coined phrase in the Chinese construction industry that describes a project company signing two versions of a contract with the contractor. The paper explores the essence and the cause of ´Black and white construction contracts´. Meanwhile, it research on the legal debate based on the new interpretation promulgated by the Supreme People´s Court on 25 October 2004.
