Abstract :
Stator related faults are very common in induction machines and their existence can rapidly lead to catastrophic consequences for the machine and the drive system. This is the reason why there is continuous research on methods for timely detection. In this work the impact of this kind of fault on the machine phase current is examined through the Park vector transformation approach. To this direction simulations and experiment tests were waged and the results were analyzed using complex wavelets.
