Abstract :
The decentralized controller design problem is studied for multimachine power systems. A Hamiltonian formulation for the multimachine power systems is presented. Based on the Hamiltonian formulation, the decentralized passivation control and stabilizing control problems are discussed. It is also shown that the adaptive mechanism can be introduced to the proposed feedback controllers for improving the robustness on the parametric uncertainty
