Formalized Description of Service View within C4ISR Architecture Framework

In the System View of C⁴ISR Architecture, the military resource systems were tightly coupled and hard to adapt to the dynamic changement of operational process within Operational View. This paper presents a service oriented C⁴ISR Architecture Framework and prescribes the formalized description of service view. In the future integrated joint operation, C⁴ISR system which federates systems, sensors and effectors to promote military effectiveness, is moving towards a more dynamic producer/consumer environment. In order to improve the C⁴ISR Architecture Framework including SOA related issues, service and related elements are added to the C⁴ISR architecture as integrated parts and service view is added to the framework. Further, due to ensure the data coherence of C⁴ISR architecture, service view and its product formalized descriptions are prescribed and followed by the relationship between the products.
