Abstract
As fiber optics becomes more ubiquitous through military platforms, the cable plant repair and maintenance processes have become more critical to maximize platform readiness. However, fiber optics presents many challenges for service personnel due to the complexity of the termination and polishing processes required. Traditional methods are highly manual and require high skill levels to perform adequately.
