Abstract :
This paper presents a graph-based information retrieval system whose query can be expressed as a graph of topics/subtopics. Documents are ranked with respect to a query, upon relationships among documents, relationships among topics/subtopics, and relationships between query terms and documents. The system is evaluated and compared with two information retrieval systems on two standard text collections. The results show that the proposed approach outperforms the other systems
