Abstract :
In this work, the influence of topology and morphology of complex indoor scenarios in the performance of MIMO techniques is explored. By means of deterministic 3D ray launching simulation, the behavior of a 1×1, 2×2 and 3×3 systems in terms of received power as well as power delay profile is analyzed, linked to antenna separation. The results aid the radioplanning stages of future networks with MIMO functionality, such as LTE, in future complex indoor scenarios, such as 4G femtocells.
