Abstract :
The construction of hydropower projects out of the national macro-economic considerations, not only generates electricity, while playing a role in boosting the regional economy direct and indirect, particularly in employment, taxation and so on. Based on input-output method, through establish the employment contribution model, the paper makes a detailed analysis on pulling effect for hydropower construction to regional employment, and combining with examples for empirical analysis.
