Abstract
Recently, wireless communication systems have been diversified. Planar antennas which are small and conformity are demanded from the points of carrying and designing. In addition, the radiation characteristics which satisfy utility condition are expended. In this paper, a planner antenna which is printed on dielectric substrate backed with conductor plane is proposed as an unidirectional antenna. Also the planar antennas with posts are proposed, too. There planar antennas are analyzed by FDTD method. Characteristics such as return loss and radiation are obtained. The results are shown in figures. From the results the planar antennas are useful for mobile communication systems and wireless LAN
