            Abstract : 
After fewer than three years as an industry, Internet advertising has grown rapidly and is expected to command an even larger portion of advertisers´ media budgets with the next decade. From the points of view of Internet advertisers, it will be very advantageous if Internet advertising can be automatically carried out. Software agent technology offers a new paradigm for advertising on the Internet. It can be used to automate several of the most time consuming stages of Internet advertising. This paper surveys the application trends of software agents in Internet advertising and proposes some solutions to these trends at the same time
