  • Abstract
Two methods are presented to determine the steady-state solution of nonlinear eddy current problems, one in the time domain and another in the frequency domain. Both are based on the fixed-point technique to solve the nonlinear equations arising. In the time domain, this enables to step through one period only and arrive at steady-state. In the frequency domain, the harmonic balance method combined with the fixed-point approach allows decoupling the equations for different harmonics.
