Remarks to the solution of EMC-problems on printed-circuit-boards

The author gives a survey of the PCB design process under EMC constraints. For a better understanding of the PCB design process with respect to EMC problems the standard design process is discussed first. Based on this discussion an alternate design process including EMC problems is defined. For this approach the PCB design problems are classified first. After this discussion the present state of the art and development of methods to handle noise phenomena on PCBs are worked out. New promising approaches are presented
