Assessment of Sustainable Management Level for International River under Non-Traditional Threats

The non-traditional threats of International River are mainly on ecological and resource security threats. For sakes of sustainable management, one of major tasks of International River Management should be focus on how to assess the river health. However, international river has its own characteristics, like the diversity of interest bodies leads handle international river problems usually a little one-sidedness while the water resource is a integrate unit. This paper clarified the status quo of sustainable management for International River under non-traditional threats, then designed a index to assess the international river sustainable management level which took the international relationship as crucial sub-indexes, lastly analysis the key technologies to realize the evaluation system.
