  • Abstract
    The authors present AHFA, a real-time expert system which interprets simultaneous faults on the National Grid Company power system. It includes on object oriented graphical user interface to simplify entering the system specific knowledge. Tests so far with real and simulated data have shown AHFA to meet its goal and to be faster and more powerful than similar expert system elsewhere
