Abstract :
In this paper the use of the code FastHenry applied to optimization of inductive coupling between nearest neighbor RF coil elements in a phased array topology is discussed. Numerical examples are presented for different coil geometries in order to demonstrate the use, accuracy and versatility of this technique. Good agreement between calculated results and measured data was observed in all cases considered.
