            Abstract :
A new guidance law based on a differential games formulation with bounded controls is derived for an interceptor missile having forward and aft controls. The end game of the interception scenario is analyzed using a linearized kinematics model and low order system dynamics. The interceptor closed loop dynamics is represented by two first order bi-proper transfer functions. The target maneuver dynamics is represented by a first order strictly proper transfer function. An optimal guidance strategy is derived consisting of a bang-bang control in some parts of the game-space and arbitrary control in the rest. For the tail control, a switching surface at some constant time before interception exists in the game-space.
