            Abstract :
Development of a fixed limited vocabulary automatic speaker recognition system is described. The operation of the system is based on extraction of ceptstral features from single isolated word utterances by various speakers. A dynamic time warping algorithm is used in the comparison stage to bring the feature vectors being compared into time alignment. A nearest neighbor rule is used to determine the identity of the speaker
