  • Abstract
    It is of significance to reduce the demand of high-carbon energy such as fossil, increase the production and demand of low-carbon energy such as the renewable energy (new energy) and so on, and promote the economic development mode from “high-carbon economy” to “low-carbon economy” to transfer based on the innate requirements of “low-carbon economy”. The article analyzes the importance developing the renewable energy industry on developing “low-carbon economy”, and problems currently existed in the development of China´s renewable energy industry. Accordingly, the article puts forward policies for the development of the renewable energy industry of China required for “Low-carbon economy” followed as: To improve the awareness of the importance to develop the renewable energy industry; To promote the renewable energy technology innovation, enhance the independent innovation capability of the renewable energy enterprises, and improve the technology level of the renewable energy industry; To establish the coordination organizations to promote the renewable energy industry to develop, and set up the coordination mechanisms through the integral management ways; To improve the policies and laws of the renewable energy industry.
