Abstract
In this paper, the input impedance of a thin-wire square-loop antenna with the different wire-radius is obtained using the FDTD method, where Gaussian type pulse and sinusoidal wave are used as the excitation source. The PML absorbing boundary condition and the infinitesimally small feeding gap have been applied to calculate the input impedance of a thin-wire square-loop antenna. The calculations of input impedance of thin-wire square-loop antenna are in good agreement with previous MoM results
