  • Abstract
    We have measured the Newtonian gravitational constant using a compensated torsion balance in which the gravitational torque is balanced by an electrostatic torque from an electrometer. The electrometer is calibrated by accelerating the whole apparatus. Our result and uncertainties are discussed.<>
