Abstract
This paper reviews the state of knowledge concerning the identification of buried mines and unexploded ordnance using techniques based on the singularity expansion method, supplemented by symmetry. It includes a list of important references which, in turn, give a very large list of references. This is supplemented by some more recent specific references.
