Abstract :
Current state of the art in precision antenna measurements is discussed for three commonly employed antenna measurement systems, far-field, near-field, and compact ranges. We begin with a review of antenna test types and requirements and continue with a discussion issues and challenges which have recently arisen to antenna test and measurement. Each measurement technique, is then discussed including the limitations and advantages of each. In fact, each technique is uniquely qualified to produce high quality measurements of specific but different applications. These specific applications are discussed.<>
